Hi Everyone! I am Pooja and I teach English at the primary level. Why did I choose this profession? Teaching isn’t an easy job, especially with today’s younger generation but I was inspired to teach by my English professor, who was no less than a friend to his students. To get students to learn from you, you first have to be friends with them. I love communicating with people, so teaching is very suitable for me, being able to talk to students and help them with whatever knowledge I have.
Lastly, I’d like to say that learning is a never-ending process. I’m still learning and trying to make myself better every day.
Hello! My name is Tara Adhikari. I was born and brought up in Nagaland, India. I‘ve been teaching primary English at Namaste Academy for the past 2 years. When I teach, I do not only impart some of my knowledge to them but also learn something myself. I enjoy teaching English because it gives students a voice. I show students love kids. There’s no single specific reason but a combination of things such as the daily laughter, that words are powerful things, they’re the things that influence people, that instigate change in the world. Every single day we make a difference in someone’s life that goes far beyond knowledge.
